Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum heat dissipation process according to the usage pattern of a finder.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus has a finder, a cooling fan, a suction port for sucking air into the imaging apparatus by means of the cooling fan, an exhaust port for exhausting air to the outside of the imaging apparatus, a fan speed control section for controlling the speed of the cooling fan, slide means capable of retaining the finder at a drawing position and a housing position, finder drawing detection means for detecting whether it is at the drawing position or housing position, and finder eye contact detection means for detecting the eye contact state of the finder. The exhaust port is provided at a place exposed when the finder is at the drawing position, and the fan speed control section controls the speed of the fan according to the detection results from the finder drawing detection means and eye contact detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
