Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of properly imaging even a subject being at a position separated more than the background and a target, while suppressing an amount of light with which a person being the target is irradiated.SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises: illumination control means which controls the illumination intensity of an illumination part with predetermined control timing; imaging control means which controls the imaging timing of an imaging part; and calculation means for calculating a feature amount in moving image data captured by the imaging part. The illumination control means controls the illumination intensity of the illumination part to be at least a first illumination intensity or a second illumination intensity lower than the first illumination intensity on the basis of the calculation result of the calculation means, and the imaging timing is controlled in synchronization with the control timing of controlling illumination intensity by the illumination control means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
