Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus that can acquire an image in which a moire is reduced without deteriorating resolution of a photogenic subject.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: a light distributor that distributes photogenic subject light passing through an imaging optical system to first photogenic subject light and second photogenic subject light; a first imaging device that images the first photogenic subject light; a second imaging device that images the second photogenic subject light and that has a fewer pixel number than the first imaging device; an optical low-pass filter that is not provided in front of the first imaging device and that is provided in front of the second imaging device; moire detection means that detects a moire occurred on an image imaged by the first imaging device by comparing images imaged at the same time by the first imaging device and the second imaging device; means that detects an edge of the image imaged by the first imaging device, and that removes an edge signal detection area from a moire detection result; and means that mitigates the moire detected by the moire detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
