Abstract:
To prevent release time lag caused by the driving time of a diaphragm.SOLUTION: A camera body 100 can be attached with an interchangeable lens 200 including a diaphragm 260 and a diaphragm driving unit 261 that drives the diaphragm 260, and comprises: an image pick-up device 110 that can reset accumulated electric charges; a shutter 180 that can block or open a light path to the image pick-up device 110; a shutter driving unit 181 that drives the shutter 180; a release button 130 that instructs an imaging operation; and a body controller 140 that controls the drive of the shutter driving unit 181 and the image pick-up device 110 according to the instruction from the release button 130. The body controller 140 acquires a predicted diaphragm operation time of the diaphragm driving unit 261, and starts an electric charge reset operation according to the predicted diaphragm operation time so as to end the electric charge reset operation of the image pick-up device 110 by the end of the diaphragm operation of the diaphragm driving unit 261.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
