Abstract:
To flexibly obtain a high-quality captured image corresponding to each of one or more subjects by suppressing the occurrence of operation delay related to imaging of the one or more subjects existing within a presumed distance range.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes a lens through which light from an object enters, a spectral prism having a first surface that reflects first light having a first wavelength with a first reflectance, and a second surface that reflects second light having a second wavelength out of the light transmitted through the first surface with a second reflectance, a first imaging unit that captures a first image of the subject with a first depth of field on the basis of the first light reflected by the first surface, a second imaging unit that captures a second image of the subject with a second depth of field on the basis of the second light reflected by the second surface, a third imaging unit that captures a third image of the subject with a third depth of field on the basis of the third light transmitted through the first surface or the second surface, and a signal processing unit that synthesizes and outputs the first image, the second image, and the third image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
