To improve operability of users when allocating a function to an operation member.SOLUTION: An imaging control apparatus allowing a lens to be selectably mounted includes: allocation means of allocating a function to a predetermined operation member, which is a rotating member; and control means of setting aperture value to a function which is executed in response to an operation on the predetermined operation member when a first lens that does not satisfy a predetermined condition is mounted, or setting a shutter speed to the function which is executed in response to the operation on the predetermined operation member when a second lens satisfying the predetermined condition is mounted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
