Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus that improves operability for a user in setting a distance measurement area and a photometric area through eye-controlled input.SOLUTION: An imaging control device of the present invention has: line-of-sight detection means that detects the position of the line-of-sight of a user; first setting means that sets a distance measurement area; second setting means that sets a photometric area; and control means that, when the distance measurement area is set before a photographing preparation instruction is issued, controls not to set the distance measurement area in accordance with the detected position of the line-of-sight while the photographing preparation instruction is issued, when the photometric area is set before the photographing preparation instruction is issued, not to set the photometric area in accordance with the detected position of the line-of-sight while the photographing preparation instruction is issued, and when both the photometric area and the distance measurement area are not set before the photographing preparation instruction is issued, set the distance measurement area and the photometric area in accordance with the detected position of the line-of-sight while the photographing preparation instruction is issued.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
