Abstract:

To provide an imaging device having plural operation sections with improved user-friendliness.

The imaging device includes: an imaging section that takes an image of an object to generate an image data; a first operation section that receives operations made by a user; and a control section that executes a predetermined function according to the operation received by the first operation section and an operation received on a second operation section different from the first operation section. When an image recording processing is executed to record an image data as moving image, the control section allots functions which are different from each other to the first operation section and second operation section respectively; and when the moving image recording processing is not executed, the control section allots the same function to the first operation section and the second operation section.
