Abstract:

To solve the problem in which since a conventional camera grip has a contact part for electrical communication at a fixing part of the grip, when an impact is applied from the outside to the fixing part of the grip, the impact is transmitted also to the contact part and contact becomes unstable.

The imaging system of the present invention includes: an imaging device having a first connection part; and a camera grip having a second connection part at which the camera grip can be attached to the imaging device, by being rotated with the first connection part. The first connection part includes a pin jack for electrical communication at a rotation center part, and the second connection part includes a pin plug for the electrical communication to be connected to the pin jack, at the rotation center part.
