Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a time required for photometry based on a plurality of pieces of image data each having different exposure value.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: imaging means; photometry means for performing photometry based on an image divided into a plurality of regions in an angle of view with respect to each of the plurality of regions; light intensity adjustment means capable of adjusting an intensity of light incident on the imaging means with respect to each of the plurality of regions; light intensity control means for setting a control value for causing the light intensity adjustment means to adjust the light intensity with respect to each of the plurality of regions; and exposure control means for setting an exposure value based on the photometry result acquired by the photometry means with respect to each of the plurality of regions. The exposure control means sets the exposure value based on the photometry result based on an image obtained by performing imaging with the imaging means in a state where a control value for the plurality of regions set by the light intensity control means includes a first control value and a second control value different from the first control value.
