Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for acquisition of a good image, even if shooting under a flickering light source.SOLUTION: An imaging device has imaging means, photometry means, setting means for setting the exposure time of the imaging means, calculation means for calculating the light intensity change characteristics of light from a subject based on a plurality of photometry results from the photometry means, and control means for controlling the exposure timing of the imaging means, based on the light intensity change characteristics calculated by the calculation means. The calculation means changes the calculation frequency of the light intensity change characteristics when performing continuous shooting, based on the exposure time set by the setting means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
