Abstract:
To improve performance of an imaging device by utilizing electric power supplied from an external device.SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 includes: connection means connectable to an external device; driving means for driving the shutter means; and control means which, when the external device connected to the connection means is capable of supplying higher electric power than that of a battery, controls a power supply path in an imaging device so that the electric power from the external device is supplied to the driving means via the connection means, and also controls the driving means so that photographing of a plurality of still images is performed at the second continuous photographing speed higher than the first continuous photographing speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
