Abstract:
To enhance convenience when wireless communication is performed using an external device.SOLUTION: In a digital camera 100, communication settings used when a communication function is used and digital camera direction information 211 including a channel group capable of wireless transmission are stored in a non-volatile memory 103. A control unit 101 of the digital camera 100 compares the channel of the communication setting with the channel group of external communication adapter direction information 210 read from an external communication adapter 120, and determines whether or not wireless transmission of the external communication adapter direction information 120 is possible using the channel of the communication setting. When wireless transmission is not possible, the channel of the communication setting is changed to a channel common to the channel group of the digital camera direction information 211 and the channel group of the external communication adapter direction information 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
