Abstract:
To restrain a risk of missing an image of an object in an imaging device that does not execute imaging processing and transmission processing in parallel.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes imaging means for imaging a subject, transmission means for transmitting image data to an external device, subject search means for automatically searching for and detecting the subject, and control means for performing control so as not to execute, in parallel, determination means for determining whether or not to image a subject found by the subject search means, image data transmission processing by the transmission means, and imaging processing by the imaging means. The subject search means searches for a subject even during transmission of image data by the transmission means. When the determination means determines that the subject found by the subject search means is imaged while image data are transmitted by the transmission means, the transmission means interrupts the transmission of the image data, and the imaging means images the subject found by the subject search means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
