Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform consecutive photographing in accordance with a purpose of a photographer when performing the consecutive photographing while switching finder photographing and live view photographing.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: switching means for switching to any one of a finder photographing mode and a live view photographing mode; setting means for setting any operation mode from among multiple operation modes including multiple consecutive photographing modes of different consecutive photographing speeds; and control means by which, when the finder photographing mode is switched to the live view photographing mode by the switching means, in the case where any consecutive photographing mode is set among the multiple consecutive photographing mode by the setting means, regardless of which one of the multiple consecutive mode is being set in the finder photographing mode, control is performed in such a manner that the consecutive photographing mode which is finally set in the live view photographing mode is set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
