Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus that is compact and small in power consumption, and can properly control driving of a shutter blade.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus (200) has: an imaging element (204) which photoelectrically converts a subject image and outputs an image signal; shutter means (205) which has a blade group (44), and moves the blade group to change states of the blade group between a light blocking state in which the imaging element is shielded from light and an exposure state in which the imaging element is exposed; detection means (11b) which detects the states of the blade group; calculation means (207a) which calculates brightness of an image based upon the image signal; and control means (207) which performs exposure control on the basis of the brightness of the image and the states of the blade group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
