An imaging device includes: imaging means for photographing a subject image and outputting image data; photometric value acquisition means for acquiring a photometric value from the image data; exposure changing means for changing exposure of the imaging means; and calculation means for calculating the amount of exposure change in changing exposure by the exposure changing means. The calculation means, when moving images are photographed with an exposure time longer than a predetermined time corresponding to a field period, calculates the amount of exposure change in a field where the image data is not acquired, on the basis of the photometric value acquired by the photometric value acquisition means and the amount of exposure change in the previous field of the field where the image data is not acquired.
