An imaging device has a shutter mechanism using both of a mechanical shutter 105 and an electronic shutter 107. An image processor 109 determines occurrence of exposure unevenness on the basis of information of an eye relief, a diaphragm value, an image height, a focal state detection result, the distance from an imaging face to the mechanical shutter and the slit width of the shutter. When a lack determination unit 122 determines occurrence of lack in a blurred image, correction processing for symmetrizing the brightness distribution of an image in an occurrence direction of the lack is executed. A correction filter applying unit 129 applies a correction filter with a filter coefficient having a characteristic whose shape corresponds to a shape obtained by reversing the brightness distribution of an achieved image 120 in the shutter running direction, and outputs data of a corrected image 130.
