Abstract:
To reduce an influence on an acquired image by suppressing characteristic change due to temperature rise of an optical transmittance variable element.SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises an optical element capable of changing transmissivity of light, an imaging element subjecting light having passed through the optical element to photoelectric conversion and outputting an image signal, measurement means for measuring temperature of the optical element and control means for controlling transmissivity of the optical element. The control means performs control of increasing transmissivity of the optical element in the case where the temperature measured by the measurement means exceeds predetermined temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
