Abstract:
To provide an imaging device capable of selecting a main subject from a plurality of subjects existing within an angle of view according to the user's intention, a control method thereof, and a program.SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 includes an object detection unit 162 that detects an object included in a captured image and detects the type of the object, and a CPU 151 that estimates the movement type of the imaging device 100. When a plurality of objects are detected from the captured image by the object detection unit 162, the CPU 151 gives priority to each of the plurality of objects to be subject to imaging control according to the estimated motion type of the imaging device 100 and each type of the plurality of objects detected by the object detection unit 162.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
