Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of accurately calculating light amount change characteristics of light from a light metering object depending on imaging circumstances.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: photometric means for obtaining photometric values in each of plural photometric areas in an imaging area; setting means that sets weighting to each photometric value in the plural photometric areas obtained by using the photometric means; and calculation means that calculates light amount change characteristics of the light metering object of the photometric means based on the brightness value based on each of photometric values in the plural photometric areas and the weighting set by the setting means.
