An imaging device includes: a time measurement section in which the arrival time until a correction section for optically correcting vibration reaches a predetermined movable limit region from exposure start in a first imaging operation is measured; a setting section in which shutter speed of a second imaging operation to maintain an exposure value in the first imaging operation is set shorter than the arrival time; and an imaging control section in which, when the correction section reaches the limit region, the first imaging operation is completed to execute the second imaging operation based on the shutter speed.
