Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the ghost image of a protruding member in one shot of wide-field imaging as much as possible, irrespective of the presence of the protruding member.SOLUTION: An imaging device of the present invention acquires a plurality of images connected with each other so as to be contiguous by imaging through a plurality of variable power optical systems 2A-2H facing mutually different directions. Control means 306 controls the variable power operation of each of the plurality of variable power optical systems and sets an angle of view for each variable power optical system. A body 1 holds the plurality of variable power optical systems. Protrusion detection means 306 detect protruding members 4, 5. The control means 306 exercises angle of view setting control for setting the angle of view of each of the plurality of variable power optical systems on the basis of the detection result of the protrusion detection means so that the detected protruding member does not fit within the angle of view of any of the plurality of variable power optical systems.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
