Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus which can reduce difference in brightness or color at seams.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 10 creates an image by synthesizing a plurality of images captured by image pickup devices 22. The apparatus includes: a correction amount calculation section 43 for calculating a duplicate area which is overlapped when the images are synthesized and the correction amount inside the duplicate area; an outside area correction value calculation section 44 which calculates the correction value of pixels outside the duplicate area of a second image where the same object appears as in pixels inside the duplicate area of a first image on the basis of the pixel value of the pixels inside the duplicate area; a correction section 46 which corrects the first image and the second image using the correction amount and the correction value; and a synthetic image creation section 47 which duplicates and synthesizes the duplicate area of the first image and the second image which have been corrected by the correction section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
