To provide an imaging device which improves assembly properties of the imaging device of an electronic endoscope equipped with a focusing feature or the like to a distal end portion and prevents the deviation of a photographing optical axis of a lens provided on a moving lens frame, and the electronic endoscope equipped with the imaging device.
The imaging device 30 in this invention is characterized by including a solid-state image sensor unit 46 which varies optical characteristics by moving a part of the lens of a part of an objective lens and is disposed in the proximal end portion for photoelectrically converting a subject image, a fixed lens frame 36 for holding the objective lens placed in the front of the solid-state image sensor unit, the movable lens frame 38 which moves along the photographing optical axis O for holding the part of the lens inside the lens frame, a solid member 54 which keeps one end connected to the movable lens frame and extends to the vicinity of the proximal end where the solid-state image sensor unit is disposed, and an actuator 62 which keeps a shape-memory alloy 56 coupled with the solid member and moves the movable lens frame backward and forward.
