Abstract:
To provide an imaging device capable of suppressing a change in a detection signal due to a movement of an object and performing stable measurement.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes a light source including a diffusion plate for emitting a pulse light spreading at a diffusion angle larger than a zero degree toward an object, a photoelectric conversion part for receiving the light from the object and converting it to electric charge, an electric charge accumulation part for accumulating the electric charge, a photodetector for outputting an electric signal when the electric charge is read out, and a control circuit for controlling the light source and the photodetector. The control circuit causes the light source to start to emit the pulse light, and causes the accumulation of the electric charge in the electric charge accumulation part to be started after a lapse of a predetermined time so as to cause the electric charge corresponding to a component scattered inside the object of the light from the object to be accumulated in the electric charge accumulation part. The formula 81.5≤R+d/(2 tan θ) is established, in which R (mm) represents a distance from the diffusion plate to the object, θ (degree) represents the diffusion angle, and d (mm) represents a spot size in the diffusion plate of the pulse light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
