Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and an imaging method, capable of video-recording images usable in common between video media, having different frame frequencies and capable of easily outputting one more numbers of video images, having different frame frequencies. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an imaging section 10 for converting an optical image of an object into an electrical signal to output a video signal of a first frame frequency according to the electrical signal, and a signal processing section 20 for converting the video signal of the first frame frequency into a signal of a second frame frequency and a signal of a third frame frequency to output the converted signals. The first frame frequency is a least common multiple of the second and the third frame frequencies.
