To provide an imaging device that can simplify adjustment work for directing the imaging device toward a target direction in installation of the imaging device in various types of moving apparatuses with different inclination angles of front glasses thereof.

An imaging device, which immovably supports a prism 220 having a reflecting surface 221 for reflecting light L1 from a light source 210, comprises: a first module 101A fastened to an inner wall face of a front glass 105; a second module 101B for immovably supporting the light source and an image sensor 206; and a rotation connecting mechanism for connecting the modules relative-rotatably around a rotating shaft 241. The imaging device is configured: to maintain a relation in which specular light specularly reflected on an outer wall face of the front glass, of light irradiated from the light source and specularly reflected on a reflecting surface, is received into a specified light reception region in the light receiving surface of the image sensor; and to change light receiving positions in the specified light reception region depending on the relative angles.
