Abstract:
To improve convenience of an operation.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus according to the present embodiment includes an image sensor and a processing unit. The image sensor includes a pixel group arranged in a matrix shape. The processing unit reads out, from the image sensor, a video signal group corresponding to the pixel group conforming to a first video standard, and writes, in a memory, a part of the video signal group corresponding to pixels of a segmentation area included in the pixel group while thinning out the part of the video signal group so that the part conforms to a second video standard different from the first video standard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
