Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus enabling an intuitive operation, and a control method of the same.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 according to the present invention includes a wireless module 309, a pan-tilt control part 401, and a pan direction switching part 402. The wireless module 309 receives a first or second instruction signal for instructing a pan direction. The pan-tilt control part 401 makes the imaging apparatus 100 execute a pan operation on the basis of the pan direction corresponding to the first or second instruction signal. The pan direction switching part 402 switches the pan direction corresponding to the first instruction from a first direction to a second direction which is a direction opposite to the first direction, and switches the pan direction corresponding to the second instruction signal from the second direction to the first direction.
