Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce impact of flicker while suppressing delay of shooting start.SOLUTION: A CPU101 detects light volume variation characteristics of flicker based on multiple photometric values obtained in a shorter period than a prescribed period, detects light volume variation characteristics of flicker based on the information about intensity change in a reference image obtained by differentiating the start timing of charge storage for each line of image pick-up devices 103 in a period longer than the period required for acquiring multiple photometric values, and records the characteristic information about the light volume variation characteristics of flicker in a memory. If the characteristic information is recorded in the memory, when executing the processing for suppressing the impact of flicker, the CPU does not acquire the reference image and executes the processing for suppressing the impact of flicker based on the characteristic information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
