Abstract:
To prevent foreign matter from attaching to an imaging element or an optical member in an imaging device.SOLUTION: An imaging device 200 includes: a mechanical shutter 107 for controlling an amount of exposure of an imaging element 113; drive means 108 for driving the mechanical shutter; and control means 120 for controlling the drive means. The control means causes the drive means to drive the mechanical shutter from an open state to a closed state in response to an interchangeable lens device 201 being removed from the imaging device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
