Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a mode changeover with a simple operation without a mechanical switch operation.SOLUTION: An imaging device 10 includes: display means 16 having a touch panel 17; acceleration detection means 28; and control means 14 for performing a mode changeover on the basis of a shake operation applied to the imaging device 10 and detected from the output of the acceleration detection means 28, and a touch operation applied to the display means 16 detected from the output of the touch panel 17. On detection of the shake operation, the control means 14 displays a mode menu indicative of selection candidates on the display means 16.On detection of the touch operation, the control means 14 selects a mode from the mode menu according to the position of the touch operation. The mode menu indicative of the selection candidates is varied depending on the strength of the shake operation.
