To perform photographing with appropriate exposure by necessary and sufficient quantity of photographing auxiliary light and also to always turn on the photographing auxiliary light while restraining the upsizing of a device and the cost increase thereof.

An LED flash module is equipped with: a high-luminance LED 11; a light condensing lens 12 for adjusting an irradiation angle, which is arranged on the front surface of the light emitting part of the high-luminance LED 11; and a heat radiation plate 14 for radiating the heat of the high-luminance LED 11. The high-luminance LED 11 of the LED flash module is controlled to be driven to emit light in accordance with light emitting trigger pulses nearly synchronizing with the exposure period of a camera module.
