Abstract:
To make it possible to suppress the speed limit of continuous shooting caused by a light adjustment process while performing, every time imaging is performed, the light adjustment process of the amount of main light emission by causing a strobe device to emit light during continuous shooting of an imaging device.SOLUTION: A control unit 101 of an imaging device 100 communicates with a strobe device 500 used for imaging, obtains information on a preliminary light emission result of the strobe device 500, and based on the obtained information on the preliminary light emission result, performs a light adjustment process of determining an amount of main light emission of the strobe device 500 in main imaging. When an imaging frequency to repeat imaging is high enough to exceed a threshold value, the control unit 101 obtains information used for setting at the time of preliminary light emission or at the time of the main light emission, which is different from information on the main light emission amount, by dividing a first communication process before the preliminary light emission and a second communication process after the preliminary light emission.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
