Abstract:
To provide an imaging device that can perform processing on a super-resolution subject image in the same manner as processing on a normal subject image, and a method for controlling the imaging device.SOLUTION: When the repeating interval of color filters of an image sensor 5 corresponds to the distance of N (even number) photoelectric conversion elements, an imaging device shifts the image sensor 5 to all positions obtained by multiplying a coefficient obtained by multiplying a natural number m including all 0 equal to or less than N/2 by N/(N+1) by the pitch of the photoelectric conversion elements, and positions obtained by multiplying a coefficient obtained by multiplying -m by N/(N+1) by the pitch of the photoelectric conversion elements. When the repeating interval corresponds to the distance of the odd number of photoelectric conversion elements, the imaging device also shifts the image sensor 5 to the positions obtained in the same manner. The arrangement of color components of a super-resolution subject image obtained by the shifted image sensor corresponds to the arrangement of the color filters, and processing on the super-resolution subject image can be performed in the same manner as processing on a normal subject image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
