Abstract:
To provide means capable of acquiring, even when a large shake is caused during an exposure period, an image having the shake suppressed.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: imaging means which comprises an imaging element consisting of a plurality of pixels and picks up an image under previously set exposure conditions; and shake detecting means which detects a shake of the imaging device. The imaging means comprises a physical mechanical trailing curtain which travels to block incidence of light on the imaging element under previously set exposure conditions, and a resetting part which performs sequential resetting operation on the imaging element, line by line, and also allows, when a detection result of a shake detected by the shake detecting means exceeds a predetermined value, the mechanical trailing curtain to travel earlier than under the previously set exposure condition to block the incidence of the light on the imaging element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
