Abstract:
To quickly execute accurate AF or the like by realizing real-time performance in an image displayed on an EVF.
Exposure is performed by an electronic shutter (A1), so that charges can be generated by two-dimensionally arrayed first and second elements. Then, focusing and imaging is performed, based on the charges generated by the first pixels (C1-1, D1-1). Then, imaging is conducted for each of three areas (C1-2 to C1-4) based on the charges generated by the second pixels, and exposure is performed by the electronic shutter between the imaging (A2, A3), so that the charges are generated again by the first pixels. Then, focusing is performed, based on the generated charges (D2, D3).
