An imaging part 2 images a subject to acquire a photographed image. An acceleration sensor 7 detects inclination of a digital camera 1 to a horizontal plane. A controller 3 discriminates a photographing scene of the image photographed by the imaging part 2 to acquire a photographing condition, and controls the photographing condition (an exposure amount) of the photographed image depending on the inclination detected by the acceleration sensor 7. At this time, when the inclination of the digital camera 1 is changed, the photographing scene discriminated for acquiring the photographing condition is further specified depending on a luminance distribution detected by a luminance sensor 8.
