To provide a small-sized imaging device, having an image-shaking preventive function capable of also being assembled in an apparatus, such as portable telephones.
The image sensing device (20) having the image-shaking preventive function has a camera case body; camera modules (22 and 24) with lenses for an image sensing and image-sensing elements; a first supporting mechanism elastically supporting the camera modules to the camera case body so as to be able to be rotated centered about a first axis (A1); and a second support mechanism elastically supporting the camera modules to the camera case body so as to be able to rotate centered about a second axis (A2). The imaging device (20) further has actuators (34 and 36) for making torque rotating the camera modules on the camera modules, and a sensor for detecting a rotational movement with respect to the static space of the camera case body and a control means (42) for making the actuators work, on the basis of the result of the detection of the sensor and inhibiting shaking with respect to the static space of the optical axes of the lenses for the imaging.
