To provide an imaging device comprising micro pixels, wherein a light reception efficiency is made as high as possible, and the carrier movement between adjacent pixels is prevented and efficient photoelectric transfer is formed.
The imaging device is arranged one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally, constituted of a plurality of pixels which have microlenses; a photoelectric transferring means for transferring incident light into an electrical signal; and a light-guiding means which is composed of a transparent high refractive index material, and is disposed between the microlens and the photoelectric transferring means, for guiding light from the microlens to the photoelectric transferring means, respectively. As the distance from the center of the imaging device becomes larger, the larger the center of the photoelectric transferring means is shifted from the center of the light-guiding means in a direction of separating from the center.
