To provide an imaging device capable of downsizing a body by balancing a shutter charge function with an image vibration-proof function with a simple structure.

This imaging device includes: a CCD 14 arranged on an optical axis of an imaging lens 13; a focal plane shutter 15 arranged on the optical axis between the CCD 14 and the imaging lens 13; a shutter drive mechanism 20 provided for the focal plane shutter 15 for executing shutter charge; and a drive mechanism 30 mounting the CCD 14 thereon, moving the CCD 14 in a direction parallel to an imaging surface of the CCD 14, and acting on the shutter drive mechanism 20 to cause it to execute shutter charge; and thereby the shutter charge is carried out by using the vibration-proofing drive mechanism 30.
