When a halfway pressing operation of a shutter button is performed after the completion of a certain amount of learning, object sorting for an input image at the time is performed, a learning content corresponding to a combination of detection categories for the input image is read from a learning memory, and automatic field angle adjustment and automatic focus adjustment in accordance with the read content are performed.
