To provide an imaging device capable of performing photometry relatively accurately even if a 3D conversion lens is installed.
The imaging device comprises: an imaging element(180) for generating image data from an object image; connection means capable of connecting the 3D conversion lens that can simultaneously form an image for left eye and an image for right eye on the imaging element; photometry means (210) for calculating the brightness (Y) of the image to be formed on the imaging element and generating photometric information (E) indicating the brightness of the image to be formed on the imaging element based on the calculated image brightness; exposure adjustment means (300, 180, 190) for controlling exposure for the imaging element based on the photometric information; and light quantity correction means (210) for reducing influence on a light quantity decrease that occurs in the image to be formed on the imaging element in the photometric information when the 3D conversion lens is connected to the connection means.
