The imaging device comprises: a solid-state imaging element which takes an image of a subject on an imaging surface; a release switch for inputting an instruction to start exposure of the imaging surface; time measurement means which starts counting of a predetermined period with the input of the instruction; movement trajectory computation means which previously computes during the predetermined period a scheduled movement trajectory along which the image moves on the image surface; exposure start means which starts the exposure after the lapse of the predetermined period; and image correction means which corrects the image to stop the movement during the exposure on the imaging surface on the basis of the computed scheduled movement trajectory.
