Abstract:
To perform highly accurate light emission control of flash suitably for a scene.
The imaging device includes: an imaging element having a light receiving element for images which images a field and a light receiving element for photometry which measures quantity of light from the field; a detection part for detecting a specific subject in the field, using signals of the light receiving element for images; a flash unit for illuminating the field; and a control part for performing control so as to stop light emission of the flash unit, when an integrated value of the output signals by the light receiving element for photometry, corresponding to the specific subject, reaches a predetermined value.
