Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a composite image by automatically combining a plurality of photographed images so that feature areas do not overlap each other without imposing a load on a photographer.SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 comprises: imaging means 12 that captures a subject image; feature area detection means 14 that detects feature areas from a plurality of photographed images captured by the imaging means 12, respectively; and image composition means 14 that combines the plurality of photographed images so that the positions of the feature areas detected by the feature area detection means 14 do not overlap each other to generate a composite image.
