Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a position of a pixel not functioning as an imaging pixel in an image pickup element by a small storage capacity.SOLUTION: An imaging device has: an image pickup element that comprises a two-dimensional array of a plurality of windows, in which each window includes imaging pixels RGB and a focus detection pixel S; a window position information storage section 109 that stores information relating to a position of the focus detection pixel in each area; a memory 107a that stores information on the number of repeats from a start position in horizontal and vertical directions of the two-dimensional array; and a computation section 114 that acquires the position of the focus detection pixel on the basis of the stored information.
