Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of determining a subject distance with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an optical system that includes a focus lens and that forms a subject image of a subject; an imaging unit picking up the subject image formed via the optical system and generating image data; and a control unit determining a subject distance on the basis of first image data generated when the focus lens is at a first focus lens position and second image data generated when the focus lens is at a second focus lens position, and in accordance with information indicating a state of the optical system.
