Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that can limit a display area for a focus estimation value on display means to a subject in the neighborhood of focus.SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 has an imaging element 110 for generating an imaging signal from a subject, a focus estimation value generator 132 for setting any block for a frame picture generated from the imaging signal, and generating a first focus estimation value representing the focus state of the subject in the block, a focus estimation value subtraction part 134 for subtracting a second focus estimation value representing a non-focus state from the first focus estimation value of the block to generate a third focus estimation value, a synthesizing part 140 for combining the third focus estimation value with the frame picture, and a display part 170 for displaying a pickup image synthesized by the synthesizing part 140.
